Jim Pino
As a copywriter, Jim began his career at Y&R Perú thinking for Movistar, Toyota, Alicorp, the League Against Cáncer, LATAM, Británico, Rímac and Cibertec.
Three years later, worked in Causa Advertising as Senior Copywriter for brands like Wolkswagen, Entel, Artesco and Gloria. In 2017, he joined VENA as his Creative Director and created campaigns for Oncosalud, Zensex and Plan International. Then he was called up to lead Wong’s team in McCann Worldgroup and dozens of strategic rebrandings in Futuro.
His work for those brands has been featured in Shots, the Top 20 of Creativity Online, Luerzer’s Archive and Adlatina and they have covered by more than 20 news stations all over South America. He won a couple of awards and took a training for creative directors at M.AD in Rio de Janeiro.
He is a writer but he learns to design. He is a listener but he learns to compose. At the end of the day, he just wants to create. Jim -Jimbo for friends- is 30 years old and works since he was 16 on the dream of his life: to build a routine in which innovation, at every level, finally become a brand new career.
